SUV versatility collides with electrified efficiency in the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV. This compact electric SUV is the smart choice for drivers wanting to go green but unwilling to compromise on performance. We discuss just some of the reasons you need to explore the Equinox EV. 7 Reasons to Explore the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV 1. Electric Performance It may be 100% electric, but the new Equinox is a force to be reckoned with. A high-range battery pack powers a front-mounted motor to produce 220 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque, resulting in quick acceleration without the din of a noisy gas-powered engine. 2. Outstanding Range Whether you're commuting into Chicago or whisking the family away on a weekend getaway, the Equinox EV has the range to get you where you need to go. When fully charged, the high-range battery will carry you 319 miles, making this compact SUV the most affordable 315+ mile range electric vehicle currently on the market. 3. Tech to Maximize Range Every Equinox EV, from the entry-level 1LT to the sporty RS, comes with the technology to help drivers maximize the range. While you brake and slow the vehicle down, Regen on Demand and One-Pedal Driving help preserve energy and direct electricity back to the battery. 4. DC Fast Charging Capability If you find your EV's running low on power, you won't find yourself stranded. DC fast charging capability means you can quickly recharge and replenish the battery at any one of 250,000 public chargers located across North America. 5. Spacious Cabin The Equinox may only measure 15.88 feet in length, but that doesn't stop it from delivering on interior space. The cabin comfortably seats five, with front occupants receiving 41.65 inches of legroom and adjustable bucket seats. Those seated in the back enjoy ample headroom and have 38 inches in which to stretch out their legs. 6. Flexible Cargo Area Even with its 102.24 cubic foot cabin, the Equinox still has a 26.40 cubic foot trunk, the ideal size for carrying groceries, luggage, sports equipment, and anything else a busy family needs to haul. Foldable rear seatbacks allow you to expand the cargo area to 57.20 cubic feet when needed, and a dual-height floor helps maximize capacity and keep everything organized. 7. LED Reflective Windshield Collision Alert To enhance safety, Chevy equips the Equinox EV with an LED Reflective Windshield Collision Alert. This innovative system utilizes the vehicle's sensors and cameras to monitor for potential collisions and projects a warning onto the windshield to draw your attention to the road ahead. From its efficient propulsion system to its spacious interior, there's plenty to love about the Equinox EV.
